Meet Scott Prince, a Dallas-based hairstylist whose passion for hair began long before he ever picked up a pair of shears. Growing up in Carlsbad, New Mexico, Scott's early fascination with the classic barbershop experience and his own relentless pursuit of the perfect haircut ignited a lifelong love for the craft. This personal quest for ideal hair took a specific turn in his youth, as his naturally light blonde hair transitioned to a darker shade, sparking an early and enduring interest in the art of lightening. This youthful fascination with achieving the perfect blonde has blossomed into a career-defining expertise. Scott is now recognized in Dallas for his exceptional talent in crafting cool, light blonde highlights, a skill that has become a signature of his work and a cornerstone of his success in the industry. His unique understanding of blonde tones is rooted in his own personal experience and a deep passion for the transformative power of color. Driven by an artistic spirit and a natural inclination towards beauty and personal aesthetics, Scott pursued his formal training at Vernon Cosmetology Program in Wichita Falls. Upon returning to Dallas, he further honed his skills through an intensive two-year apprenticeship under a board certified hair colorist, demonstrating his deep commitment to mastering the intricacies of the trade. Scott's early career was marked by an insatiable thirst for knowledge, leading him to absorb as much education as possible during a pivotal time when leading hair color educators began openly sharing their deeply guarded trade secrets. This dedication quickly propelled Scott from assisting backstage at major hair shows to taking center stage himself. For several years, he traveled extensively, sharing his knowledge and passion by delivering substantive education at trade shows, privately owned salons, and distributor events across the states.
